Time Flies When you're having Fun!!!

So here we are on Labor Day, finally some time to update my blog a little. Today the weather has just been beautiful. A great day for hanging out with the family, playing a little soccer and of course a little bit of grilling'. It has been a pretty busy couple of days. This past Wednesday, my mother-in-law came in town from Dallas, TX. It was nice to have her here for a couple of days. The boys enjoyed having some one on one time with Mimi Granny and showing her all of their special toys. We got to go out for breakfast and dinner, get pedicures and tour the beautiful city of San Francisco.

On Friday afternoon, we left for our overnight camping trip in Santa Cruz with a group of church members. After a somewhat adventurous drive, we finally made it to Lehi Camp. We set up the tent and just enjoyed the rest of the evening. The boys enjoyed the campfire and of course the smores. I think we all just crashed that night, since we were all able to get some good sleep in. We were even warm enough throughout the night. The next morning we had a tasteful breakfast with pancakes, eggs, bacon and fruits. Can you believe that?? That's a bigger breakfast than what I usually get at home in my own kitchen. The rest of the morning, the kids rode their bikes and played games. They had a blast. We took down our tent and packed up and were back on the road by like noon. It was great fun. We'll have to do this again next year.
