No More Dishes for the Next 12+ Years

In two weeks my little men will be turning 6 and I figured that it was time for some serious chores around the house. They are big enough to help out a little more. So today, they started by unloading the dishwasher and putting all the dishes where they belong. They learned that dishes that are still a little wet, need to be dried with a towel. They were both so excited that they were allowed to do this all by themselves. What they don't realize is that today is the day when doing the dishes became part of their lives for the rest of their lives...ha ha. They were just so proud of themselves and asked when they could actually load the dishwasher? They got high fives for doing such good jobs. It was so cute to see them so excited, maybe some of that excitement could rub off on their dad:) Let's see how long this excitement will last. But for now, I'm lovin' it!!!
