Viva Las Vegas

Last week we pulled the kids out of school and spend a couple of days in Vegas. There were several reasons for this trip. One huge one was the marathon D ran. He started at 6 a.m. on the Las Vegas Blvd., the strip, in front of the Mandalay Bay and finished a couple of hours later back at the Mandalay Bay. We made sure we were there along the way to cheer him on.

We are so proud of him for crossing the finish line and completing his first marathon. D was happy to have accomplished what he set out to do and was even up for some poses with the King of rock 'n' roll himself and of course with one of Vegas' own show girls. D did state that this would be his 1st and last marathon.

As always, Noah and Zion loved spending all their time with their cousins. Noah reminded us that he wanted to stay in Vegas for ever and ever. It had been a while since the entire family was all together, so we took some family photos. These were some of my favorite ones.

Last but not least, Santa Clause also happened to be in town and was able to squeeze the kids into his hectic schedule. Zion is so excited about Christmas because he knows he's going to get a scooter since he asked Santa in person.

Both my sisters-in-law did a great job on the pictures. Thanks guys. All in all, we had a great trip. We enjoyed every moment of it.
